  • Privacy:  Not everyone might be comfortable going to a gym and trying out new exercises. But when working out at home, you can create your own ambient environment and even a customized workout regime. So, you are free to make mistakes, try your own versions of exercises, and work out whenever you want to.
  • Choice of fitness regime : Another advantage of working out at home is that you can choose when, where, and how you want to work out. You can run outside and combine it with squats, weights, yoga, meditation, cardio, and more.

Cons

  • Lack of motivation:  When working out at home, you might easily get distracted or demotivated as there is no one around to mentor and guide you. You might also skip working out if you feel like it. So, sleeping in or binge-watching a show can derail your plans of regularly working out at home.
  • Less fitness equipment : When you join a gym, you gain access to a variety of facilities and equipment. A gym, depending on its size, can include a host of facilities like a sauna room, yoga room, swimming pool, cardio room, and a weight room. Each of these is generally equipped with the latest fitness gear and equipment, which is free for you to access, depending on your membership. At home, it can be tough or expensive to accommodate all kinds of equipment.
